What I Offer

Manuscript Editing & Development: Your research is solid — let's make sure the writing reflects that. I work with your existing draft to strengthen its structure, improve its clarity, and align it with your target journal's expectations. This goes beyond grammar and line edits: I look at argument flow, section balance, and how your data is being presented to reviewers.

Best for: researchers with a complete or near-complete draft who need a rigorous editorial pass before submission.

Manuscript Writing from Data or Notes: If you have the science but not yet the paper, I can help build it. Starting from your data, figures, and notes, I develop a structured, publication-ready manuscript that accurately represents your findings and positions them for your target journal.

Best for: researchers who need a writing collaborator from an early stage, including non-native English speakers who prefer to work from notes in their first language.

Review Articles & Literature Synthesis: A strong review paper requires more than summarizing what exists — it requires a clear argument about what the field knows, what it doesn't, and why that matters. I help structure and write review articles that are analytically coherent and ready for peer review.

Best for: researchers commissioned to write a review or looking to establish a presence in a topic area.

Abstracts, Posters & Presentations Conference deadlines move fast. I help distill your research into clear, well-structured abstracts, scientific posters, and slide decks that communicate your findings effectively to a specialist audience.

Best for: researchers preparing for conference submissions or academic presentations.

Publication Strategy Support: Choosing the right journal, positioning your manuscript competitively, and responding to reviewer comments are all skills that sit outside the writing itself. I can support you through those decisions so the submission process feels less uncertain.

Best for: researchers submitting independently for the first time or navigating a challenging review process.

Research & Publication Mentorship:  I provide one-on-one mentorship to help you develop the skills needed to design, write, and publish high-quality scientific research. I believe the best mentorship teaches researchers to think critically, communicate clearly, and conduct rigorous science independently. My role is to guide, challenge, and support—not to do the work for my mentees. Every project is an opportunity to build skills that extend well beyond a single publication.
